No. Students working with a Rudition tutor get the platform free. If you want to study on your own, you can buy an independent account and use the same adaptive practice without a tutor.

Tutoring Process
SAT Reading, Writing, and Math — and all major AP subjects, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Calculus, Statistics, US History, World History, English Language, English Literature, and more. Tutoring is one-on-one across all of these. Adaptive practice questions on the platform are currently available for SAT only; AP tutoring is fully available.
Yes. Every question is written to match CollegeBoard conventions exactly, from the passage style to the trap answers and difficulty calibration. No generic worksheet questions.
Most students meet weekly with their tutor. The platform keeps them working between sessions with targeted practice sets.
SAT programs typically run 2 to 4 months before the target exam. AP tutoring timelines vary by course and student starting point. We also work with students on longer academic roadmaps spanning multiple years.
Parent Reporting
Everything. Session summaries, assignment completion, score predictions, subject mastery breakdowns, and detailed insights after each session. Parents get a full briefing after every tutoring session.
The dashboard shows a live score trajectory, updated after every practice session. You can see the trend over time, not just a single number.
Yes. The platform includes a communication center for parents to message tutors, view session notes, and schedule check-ins.
Billing
Three days free. Take a diagnostic, explore the platform, and see the adaptive practice and progress tracking. If you do not withdraw before the trial ends, you will be charged automatically for the first billing period.
Yes, for both the Independent and Tutor Pro plans. Cancel before your next billing date and you won't be charged.
We'll give you advance notice and options to export your student data. We never delete records without giving you time to plan.
